Piper Companies is seeking a Laboratory Cleaning Technician to join a pharmaceutical company located in Lansing, Michigan through a temporary contract position.
Responsibilities for the Laboratory Cleaning Technician include:
- Maintain a sterile, safe, and compliant lab environment by cleaning, disinfecting, and decontaminating equipment, glassware, and work areas.
- Operate autoclaves and cage washers, as well as oversee cleanroom conditions.
- Follow safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and GLP/GMP standards while keeping accurate documentation and cleaning records.
- Dispose of chemical and biological hazardous waste in a safe and compliant manner.
- Monitor and replenish inventory of cleaning supplies and laboratory consumables.
Qualifications for the Laboratory Cleaning Technician include:
- Prior experience maintaining sterile environments is preferred, though not mandatory.
- Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds or more.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Compensation for the Laboratory Cleaning Technician includes:
- Pay Rate: $15-17/hour
