Project Manager – Spok Care Connect

Piper Companies is seeking a Project Manager – Spok Care Connect to support a migration with an academic medical center and integrated health system.

Duration: 6+ months (extension possible)

Rate: $70-$75/hr

Location: Remote, Philadelphia based preferred.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a critical communication platform initiative leveraging Spok Care Connect. This role will focus on enhancing secure messaging capabilities for providers and supporting ongoing system upgrades within a large healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project execution for Spok Care Connect implementation and upgrades
• Coordinate with clinical, IT, and operations stakeholders
• Drive timelines, deliverables, and risk mitigation strategies
• Support secure messaging workflows for care teams
• Ensure alignment with EMR systems and clinical communication standards

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience managing projects involving Spok solutions (strongly preferred)
• Background in healthcare IT project management
• Experience with clinical communication tools or secure messaging platforms
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with system upgrades or platform migrations
• Exposure to large academic medical centers or health systems
