Python Developer

Piper Companies is seeking a Python Developer for a world leading technology and cybersecurity organization. The Python Developer role is a 6‑month contract position focused on building custom automation and system integrations within a security monitoring solution. An ideal candidate for the Python Developer role has a strong Python development background, experience working with CI/CD pipelines, and exposure to integrating with security systems or tools.

Responsibilities of the Python Developer:

• Develop and maintain Python-based automation and integration solutions.

• Build custom integrations with internal platforms and third‑party systems.

• Collaborate with engineering and security teams to deliver scalable solutions.

• Manage source code using Git and version control best practices.

• Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.

Qualifications of the Python Developer:

• Strong professional experience as a Python developer.

• Proven experience building integrations and custom automation.

• Hands-on experience with Git and version control workflows.

• Experience working in CI/CD and DevOps-driven environments.

• Ideal experience integrating with security platforms, tools, or compliance systems.

Compensation for the Python Developer includes:

• Salary range: $100,000 - $145,000

• Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, Sick Leave as required by law
