Custom Integration Software Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Custom Integration Software Engineer to support the design and development of scalable integrations and automation solutions for a technology-driven organization. The Custom Integration Software Engineer role is ideal for an engineer with strong experience building custom integrations, automating workflows, and supporting distributed systems in Linux-based environments.

Responsibilities of the Custom Integration Software Engineer:

• Design, build, and maintain custom software integrations between internal systems.

• Develop automation solutions using Python scripting to improve system reliability, efficiency, and scalability.

• Support and maintain applications running in Linux-based environments.

• Build, manage, and enhance CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable and repeatable deployments.

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and operations teams to deliver integration solutions aligned with business needs.

• Utilize version control best practices using Git repositories to manage source code and collaboration.

• Troubleshoot integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes.

Qualifications of the Custom Integration Software Engineer:

• 4+ years of experience as a software engineer, integration engineer, or automation-focused developer.

• Strong experience with Python scripting for automation and system integration.

• Hands-on experience working in Linux environments.

• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines.

• Proficiency with version control systems, specifically Git.

• Experience designing and supporting custom integrations and APIs.

Compensation for the Custom Integration Software Engineer includes:

• Salary range: $115,000 – $145,000 depending on experience
