QC Lab Analyst

Piper Companies is seeking a QC Lab Analyst to join a global pharmaceutical company located in Athens, GA through an onsite, 12-month contract, with strong potential to extend or convert. The QC Lab Analyst will focus primarily on conducting analytical testing within a cGMP laboratory environment to support manufacturing and quality operations.

Responsibilities of the Lab Analyst include:

• Conduct routine analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
• Operate and maintain analytical instruments, including HPLC and GC
• Record and document test results accurately in accordance with cGMP/GDP requirements
• Assist with release testing and support overall laboratory operations
• Adhere to established SOPs and help troubleshoot issues as needed
• Ensure the laboratory remains clean, organized, and compliant

 Qualifications for the Lab Analyst include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field is desired
• 0-4 years of professional, relevant experience, specifically in general lab testing and analytical work
• Hands-on experience with lab techniques, including HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) and/or GC (Gas Chromatography)
• Solid GDP experience; QC experience preferred as well
• Background in pharmaceutical, food, nutraceutical, or related industry accepted

 Compensation/Schedule for the Lab Analyst includes:

• Pay Rate Range: $20-25/hour

• Shift: 2nd shift, 10 hours (2:00 PM – 12:30 AM)
