Senior Angular UI Web Developer

Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Angular UI Web Developer to join a growing product engineering organization building modern, web based healthcare applications. The Senior Angular UI Web Developer will focus primarily on frontend development, working on fast, intuitive user interfaces that support complex clinical and decision support workflows. This role will be approximately 90 percent frontend and 10 percent backend, with close collaboration across design, product, and engineering teams. This is a Remote role with prefered time zones being EST or CST.

Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities for the Senior Angular UI Web Developer:

• Design, develop, and maintain web based applications with a primary focus on frontend development.
• Build rich, high performance single page applications using Angular 16 or higher.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate mockups and wireframes into reusable, scalable UI components.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services and APIs using Node.js as needed.
• Participate in requirements gathering and refinement with product managers and business analysts.
• Leverage modern AI assisted development tools such as Cursor or Claude to improve development efficiency and code quality.
• Contribute to agile development ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
• Participate in code reviews and help establish frontend development standards and best practices.
• Ensure user software requirements are met and deliver clean, intuitive, and user friendly solutions.

Requirements for the Senior UI Web Developer:

• 5+ years of experience developing web based applications with a strong frontend focus.
• 5+ years of hands on experience developing applications using Angular.
• Strong experience with TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Working experience with Node.js in a supporting backend or integration capacity.
• Experience using modern AI assisted coding tools such as Cursor or Claude, with Cursor preferred.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and component based design.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, iterative, deadline driven environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Compensation for the Senior UI Web Developer:

• Salary range: $140,000 to $145,000 annually, depending on experience
• Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, 401k, and paid time off.
