Senior Clinical Research Associate

Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to support general medicine clinical trials for an organization operating within the clinical research and life sciences industry. The Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA) will join a remote, contract-based team supporting Phase II and Phase III studies across a variety of general medicine indications within a full-service clinical research environment.

Responsibilities of the Senior Clinical Research Associate include:

· Perform independent onsite and remote monitoring visits for Phase II and Phase III general medicine trials to ensure study execution aligns with protocol, GCP, ICH, and regulatory standards.

· Act as the primary liaison for assigned investigative sites, providing ongoing operational guidance and maintaining productive working relationships.

· Review site-level data, documentation, and processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely issue resolution.

· Identify potential risks to study timelines or quality and collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement corrective actions.

· Complete comprehensive monitoring documentation, including visit reports, follow-up correspondence, and ongoing site communications.

Qualifications for the Senior Clinical Research Associate include:

· Minimum of 2+ years of independent onsite monitoring experience within general medicine or related therapeutic areas.

· Experience supporting Phase II and Phase III clinical trials within a CRO or full-service clinical research model.

· Strong working knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, and FDA regulatory requirements.

· Ability to manage multiple sites autonomously while serving as the primary CRA on assigned studies.

· Proficiency with clinical trial systems such as CTMS, EDC, and standard clinical documentation tools.

Compensation for the Senior Clinical Research Associate:

Salary Range: $155,000-$175,000/year (USD)
