Piper Companies is seeking a Data Migration Lead to drive large-scale SAP transformations within a global enterprise environment. The Data Migration Lead role is ideal for a senior-level data professional with deep experience supporting SAP S/4HANA implementations and leading complex data migration initiatives within regulated, large-scale organizations.

 

Responsibilities of the Data Migration Lead:

·       Lead end-to-end data migration strategy and execution for SAP S/4HANA implementations.

·       Serve as the primary data migration subject matter expert across multiple workstreams.

·       Design, plan, and manage data objects, data loads, mock conversions, and cutover activities.

·       Utilize Syniti tools to support data profiling, cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.

·       Collaborate closely with functional, technical, and business stakeholders to ensure data readiness and integrity.

·       Establish data governance standards, controls, and migration best practices.

·       Identify risks and issues related to data quality and migration timelines, providing mitigation strategies.

·       Lead and mentor data migration team members and offshore/onshore resources.

 

Qualifications of the Data Migration Lead:

·       10+ years of SAP data migration experience, including multiple full-cycle S/4HANA implementations.

·       Hands-on experience with Syniti (ADM / DSP / Migrate) or similar SAP data migration tools.

·       Strong understanding of SAP data structures across core modules (FI, CO, MM, SD, etc.).

·       Proven experience leading large, complex data migration programs in enterprise environments.

·       Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

·       Ability to operate in fast-paced, transformation-driven environments.

·       Ability to travel to client site up to %50 of the time. 

 

Compensation for the Data Migration Lead includes:

·       Salary range: $187,000 – $195,000 depending on experience

·       Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO
