Piper Companies is seeking a BMS Project Manager / Owner’s Representative to support a large-scale facilities program within the life sciences and pharmaceutical manufacturing industry for a multi-year long onsite contract based out of Lehigh Valley, PA. This BMS Project Manager / Owner’s Representative will serve as the primary delivery lead for Building Management System (BMS) implementation at a major campus, acting as the central point of coordination between external partners and internal technical stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities of the BMS Project Manager / Owner’s Representative include:

· Serve as the owner’s representative overseeing end-to-end delivery of BMS scope from design through commissioning and handover.

· Coordinate activities across design-build firms, construction teams, system integrators, and automation vendors to maintain alignment on scope, schedule, and quality.

· Partner closely with internal engineering and automation subject matter experts to translate operational requirements into executable project plans.

· Monitor project milestones, risks, and change impacts while proactively resolving delivery and integration issues.

· Prepare and deliver clear status updates, dashboards, and executive-level communications for global facilities leadership.

 

Qualifications for the BMS Project Manager / Owner’s Representative include:

· Demonstrated experience managing BMS or industrial automation projects in regulated or complex facility environments.

· Strong background in project management, owner’s representation, or capital project delivery within life sciences, biotech, or advanced manufacturing.

· Working knowledge of BMS platforms, controls integration, and commissioning processes.

· Proven ability to manage multiple vendors and cross-functional teams in fast-paced construction settings.

· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.

 

Compensation for the BMS Project Manager / Owner’s Representative:

Salary Range: $130,000-$150,000/year (USD)

Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, sick leave if required by law, and 401K
