Communications Specialist

Piper Companies is seeking a Communications Specialist to support internal communications initiatives for a leading organization within the financial services industry. This is a 12 month contract term, hybrid role based in Dallas, TX, Merrimack, NH, or Smithfield, RI, with onsite presence required every other week. The Communications Specialist will be responsible for translating internal complex programs, strategies, and messages into clear, compelling visual communications

Responsibilities of the Communications Specialist:

• Partnering with HR Change Management and Program Leads to understand program objectives, stakeholder needs, and communication goals
• Supporting major change program milestones with high quality visual assets
• Tailoring visuals to broad audiences, from senior executives to frontline employees
• Developing and executing communication strategies aligned with business goals
• Tracking and analyzing communication metrics to improve strategies and measure effectiveness

Qualifications of the Communications Specialist:

• 5+ years of experience in visual communications, presentation design, or communications roles, preferably supporting enterprise initiatives
• Advanced ability in Microsoft PowerPoint; strong experience with SharePoint (modern sites, pages, layout, and navigation)
• Ability to develop and execute communication strategies
• Demonstrated experience creating materials used in executive level presentations
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling, information hierarchy, and user centric design
• Proven experience working in Change Management, transformation, or program environment is strongly preferred
• Portfolio of past projects to demonstrate aptitude preferred

Compensation for the Communications Specialist includes:

• Salary range: $72,800 – $80,000 USD per year depending on professional experience.
