Piper Companies is seeking a Project Manager to join a leading organization supporting enterprise digital and technology initiatives. The Project Manager will support website development efforts, mobile application launches, event technology projects, and cross-functional IT initiatives while partnering closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors. This role is ideal for a highly organized project professional with experience coordinating digital initiatives in fast-paced environments. This position is hybrid in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities of the Project Manager include:
- Support the planning, coordination, execution, and launch of digital initiatives including website projects, mobile applications, and event technology platforms
- Coordinate timelines, deliverables, testing efforts, and launch activities across technical teams and external vendors
- Manage project intake processes, documentation, scheduling, and operational updates across multiple concurrent initiatives
- Collaborate with IT, development, design, marketing, content, and data teams to support successful project delivery
- Coordinate project status meetings, stakeholder communications, follow-ups, and action item tracking
- Monitor project risks, dependencies, timelines, and outstanding tasks to ensure projects remain on schedule
- Track project budgets, invoice processing, and financial documentation as needed
- Support testing coordination, quality assurance activities, and issue escalation processes
- Maintain organized project documentation including timelines, implementation records, meeting notes, and status reporting
- Assist with operational reporting, process improvements, and ongoing technology initiatives
Qualifications for the Project Manager include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Communications, Computer Science, or related field preferred
- 4+ years of experience in Project Coordination or Technical Project Management supporting digital or IT initiatives
- Experience supporting website development projects, digital platforms, mobile applications, or event technologies preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and project coordination abilities
- Experience managing schedules, deliverables, priorities, and stakeholder communications across multiple simultaneous projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and follow-through
- Familiarity with project tracking tools, scheduling platforms, and cross-functional project coordination
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
Preferred Skills:
- Experience supporting enterprise digital transformation or customer-facing technology initiatives
- Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies
- Experience coordinating vendor relationships and external technology partners
- Exposure to QA testing coordination and launch management activities
- Experience working within IT, digital operations, or enterprise technology organizations
Compensation for the Project Manager includes:
- Salary: $110,000 – $145,000 depending on experience
- Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, Paid Holidays, 401K, and Sick Leave as required by law
