Piper Companies is seeking a Customer Service & Logistics Manager in West Chester, PA that supports microbial solutions to help clients achieve their business goals across a wide range of applications. Company supports wastewater treatment for municipalities and industry to cleaning solutions for household and commercial use.


Location: West Chester, PA

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Work Setting: Onsite

Salary Range: $70,000 – $80,000

Our client is a growing and innovative manufacturing organization focused on sustainable solutions and operational excellence. They are seeking a Customer Service & Logistics Manager to lead customer operations, inventory management, and supply chain activities while ensuring exceptional service delivery and operational efficiency.



Position Overview

The Customer Service & Logistics Manager will oversee the end-to-end customer order fulfillment process, inventory planning, logistics coordination, and customer service operations. This individual will play a key role in optimizing supply chain performance and ensuring timely product delivery while maintaining high service standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete customer order fulfillment lifecycle from order entry through final delivery
  • Oversee inventory planning, forecasting, and stock management to maintain optimal inventory levels
  • Coordinate with internal teams including sales, production, procurement, and warehouse operations to align supply and demand
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve transportation, warehousing, and distribution efficiency
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to orders, shipments, and logistics issues
  • Analyze operational data and customer metrics to identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Lead, mentor, and develop customer service and logistics team members
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence programs
  • Assist leadership with overall supply chain and customer operations strategy
  • Promote and uphold a strong safety-focused culture

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in customer operations, logistics, or supply chain management
  • Experience with ERP systems, logistics software, and inventory management tools
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to improve operational processes and customer satisfaction
