Compensation
- Base Salary: $90,000–$100,000 (based on experience)
- Commission: Up to $30,000 annually
- Commission Structure: Paid quarterly with annual accelerators
- Total On-Target Earnings (OTE): Up to $130,000+

Position Overview
The Regional Account Manager – Federal/Government Specialist is responsible for driving net-new revenue growth within the federal government and government contractor market. This is a hunter-focused, field-based sales role centered on prospecting, developing, and closing new business—particularly within secure and SCIF-related environments.
This role requires sustained outbound activity, in-person customer engagement, and strong familiarity with federal procurement and contractor ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and close new business within federal agencies and government contractors
- Execute a high-volume outbound sales approach, including cold calling, site visits, and networking
- Build and maintain relationships with federal end users, system integrators, general contractors, architects, and channel partners
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close
- Develop and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Drive market penetration within SCIF and other secure facility projects
- Conduct regular in-person customer meetings throughout the territory
- Deliver consultative, mission-aligned sales presentations
- Track all activities, opportunities, and forecasts within CRM tools
- Provide market feedback and customer insights to support go-to-market efforts
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of sales experience selling into the federal government market
- Proven success in a hunter or new business development role
- Experience supporting or selling into SCIF or secure government environments strongly preferred
- Ability to navigate federal procurement processes and contractor networks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated negotiation and relationship-building ability
- Self-motivated, accountable, and resilient
- Comfortable in a field-based role with frequent in-person engagement
- Experience using CRM platforms to manage pipeline and sales activity
