Finance Business Partner

Piper Companies is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join a well-established organization within the consumer packaged goods and manufacturing industry. This is a permanent, hybrid opportunity based in Greensboro, NC, requiring two days onsite each week. The Finance Business Partner will act as a strategic advisor to senior commercial leaders, providing financial insights and driving business performance across sales and marketing functions.

Responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner include:

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning activities across commercial P&Ls, capital investments, and working capital performance
• Develop and maintain advanced financial models and scenario analyses to support business decisions, investment strategies, and growth initiatives
• Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, R&D, People Operations, and Insights teams to drive data-informed, profitable outcomes
• Deliver consistent reporting and KPI dashboards, including monthly performance packages, forecasts, and revenue/volume analysis
• Evaluate performance trends and variances, translating complex financial data into actionable insights and process improvements

Qualifications for the Finance Business Partner include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, with 4+ years of relevant experience
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel
• Experience supporting commercial or CPG/FMCG environments with exposure to pricing, volume, and margin analysis
• Ability to clearly communicate complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders and senior leadership
• Experience with SAP, BPC, or similar systems preferred; advanced degree is a plus

Compensation for the Finance Business Partner:

• Salary: $155,000 – $170,000/year (USD)
