Supplier Quality Engineer - Pharma

Piper Companies is seeking a Supplier Quality Consultant in Athens, GA to support a global pharmaceutical company with a remediation project and liaise with suppliers.

Responsibilities of the Supplier Quality Engineer

·      Responsible for establishing quality expectations of suppliers, and supplier process changes

·      Evaluate potential and existing suppliers to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

·      Develop and maintain supplier evaluation and selection processes.

·      Conduct supplier audits to assess their quality systems and processes.

·      Identify and address potential quality risks in the supply chain.

·      Lead supplier visits of all quality system categories to assess compliance to process excellence

Qualifications of the Supplier Quality Engineer  

·      3+ years of experience within Supplier Quality

·      Strong knowledge of cGMP requirements and current FDA enforcement

·      Experience in operations source quality

·      Bachelor of Science in related field

Compensation for the Supplier Quality Engineer   

·      $75,000-$90,000 on a W2 contract rate
