Senior Software Engineer

Piper Companies is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a growing software organization within the high-speed interconnect and electronics manufacturing industry in a hybrid position working onsite in Valley Green, PA 2-3 days per week.

Responsibilities of the Senior Software Engineer include:

· Lead the design, architecture, and evolution of scalable data platforms supporting factory and engineering systems

· Architect, implement, and optimize large-scale databases and data pipelines

· Lead development of APIs and services enabling reliable, scalable data exchange

· Champion the use of AI for yield optimization, predictive analytics, and process improvement

Qualifications for the Senior Software Engineer include:

· Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (MS preferred) 

· 5-10 years of experience in software engineering, with demonstrated technical leadership

· Hands-on experience building APIs, distributed systems, and data integration solutions

· Strong hands-on experience with source control, code reviews, and CI/CD practices

· Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or similar

· Strong background with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

Compensation for the Senior Software Engineer:

· Base Salary: $130,000-$170,000 (USD)
