Senior Software Engineer

Piper Companies is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for a community-based primary care organization. The Senior Software Engineer will help promote and execute a primary care model that produces measurable outcomes across different platforms. The Senior Software Engineer position is fully remote with occasional travel. 

Responsibilities of the Senior Software Engineer:

• Design core platform services, applications, and artificial intelligence workflows with a primary focus on performance and reliability. 
•  Apply AI tools for generating code, specific testing, and automation to strengthen delivery quality and speed.  
• Contribute to greenfield architecture, service boundaries, infrastructure directions, and technology choices.
• Apply and practice secure coding and improve SDLC processes, CI/CD, and performance standards. 

Requirements of the Senior Software Engineer:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar fields. 
• 5+ years of experience creating and manufacturing scalable, performance systems across multiple channels. 
• Fully Remote with occasional travel
• Experience using AI for daily workflow, along with proficiency in React, Node, Postgres, and AWS
• Must be comfortable with system designs and live coding. 

Compensation for the Senior Software Engineer:

• $170,000-$180,000
• 10% bonus
• $1,000 home office stipend with provided equipment
