Senior VP of Solution

Piper Companies is looking to fill the role of Senior VP of Solution for a data science software company. The Senior VP of Sales will focus on closing new business and scaling enterprise presence. The Senior VP of Solutions is located in Austin, TX, or remote, with availability to travel. 

Responsibilities of the Senior VP of Solutions Include:

• Lead solution engineering by managing a global SE organization, standardizing demos and POCs, and improving technical win rates
• Drive industry expertise by guiding vertical SMEs and developing solution frameworks, use case libraries, and ROI models
• Advance presales strategy by aligning with Sales and Marketing to accelerate pipeline velocity and elevate value‑based selling
• Strengthen cross functional alignment by collaborating with Product, Engineering, Client Delivery, and Revenue Operations to ensure seamless execution
• Ensure operational excellence by optimizing SE processes, tools, performance metrics, and governance around POC scope and resource allocation

Qualifications for the Senior VP of Solutions Include:

• Education background including a bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field with an MBA or advanced technical degree preferred
• Leadership experience with 10+ years in solutions engineering or technical sales and 5+ years leading SE or pre‑sales teams at the director level or above
• Team management scope including experience managing 15–20 presales or solution engineering professionals in a centralized model
• SaaS and AI fluency with strong understanding of enterprise SaaS, APIs, integrations, cloud architecture, and ideally AI platforms
• Location ability to work remotely and travel several times per quarter

Compensation for the Senior VP of Solutions include:

• $180,000-$230,000 base 
• $20,000-$35,000 of shares – 60-40split
