Piper Companies is seeking a VP of Solutions to join a fast-growing organization within the enterprise SaaS and AI analytics space for a fully remote permanent position aligned to EST or CST time zones. The VP of Solutions will lead and evolve a centralized pre-sales organization, driving technical sales strategy while enabling consistent execution across a global solutions engineering function.

 

Responsibilities for the VP of Solutions include:

· Lead and scale a distributed team of Solution Engineers and industry specialists, ensuring high-quality technical discovery, demos, and proof-of-concept execution.

· Establish standardized pre-sales processes, including demo frameworks and POC methodologies, to improve win rates and shorten sales cycles.

· Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to align go-to-market strategies and strengthen competitive positioning.

· Oversee capacity planning, team structure, and engagement models to optimize coverage across enterprise and mid-market segments.

· Drive performance metrics such as conversion rates, influenced revenue, and technical win velocity while refining operational best practices.

 

Qualifications for the VP of Solutions include:

· 10+ years of experience in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical sales within enterprise SaaS environments, including 5+ years in a leadership role.

· Proven experience managing and mentoring teams of 15–20+ solution engineers or pre-sales professionals in a centralized model.

· Strong understanding of SaaS technologies, cloud ecosystems, APIs, and emerging AI-driven platforms.

· Demonstrated success engaging executive stakeholders and navigating complex enterprise sales cycles.

· Experience with RFP processes, security considerations, and capacity planning in regulated or technical environments.

 

Compensation for the VP of Solutions:

Salary Range: $190,000-$240,000/year (USD) + bonus & equity

Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, sick leave if required by law, and 401k
