Full Stack Developer (React/Node)

Piper Companies is seeking a Full Stack Developer (React/Node) for a dynamic healthcare startup supporting a remote workforce on the East Coast. The Full Stack Developer (React/Node) role is a remote position. The Full Stack Developer (React/Node) will design and build scalable web applications, supporting both frontend and backend development in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. An ideal candidate for the Full Stack Developer (React/Node) role is an experienced engineer with a blend of startup agility and enterprise-level development experience.

Responsibilities of the Full Stack Developer (React/Node):

• Develop and maintain full stack applications using React on the frontend and Node.js on the backend.

• Build scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions in a healthcare-focused environment.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features aligned with business and user needs.

• Contribute to architectural decisions and continuously improve system performance and reliability.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the application stack in a timely manner.

Qualifications of the Full Stack Developer (React/Node):

• 5+ years of full stack development experience with strong proficiency in React and Node.js.

• Experience working in both startup/small company environments and enterprise organizations.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern development best practices.

• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and scalable system design.

Compensation for the Full Stack Developer (React/Node) includes:

• Salary range: $160,000 – $180,000 depending on experience

• Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, Sick Leave as required by law
