Piper Companies is hiring a Senior VP Sales for a high-growth technology organization in the artificial intelligence space located in Austin, TX. The Senior VP Sales will drive global revenue growth by leading and scaling the worldwide sales organization, focusing on new business acquisition and enterprise expansion. The Senior VP Sales is a full-time direct placement role that is hybrid, 3 times onsite per week in Austin, TX, with remote flexibility and 25–35% travel required.


Responsibilities of the Senior VP Sales:

• Lead the global sales organization to close complex enterprise deals and exceed ARR targets

• Build and scale a high-performing sales team, including hiring, coaching, and performance management

• Drive pipeline generation, territory planning, and forecasting discipline across all regions

• Partner with Marketing, Product, Pre-Sales, and Delivery teams to align go-to-market strategies and execution

• Establish and execute strategic account planning to expand into new markets and customer segments

• Optimize sales processes, methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC), and CRM utilization for operational excellence


Requirements of the Senior VP Sales:

• 10+ years of progressive B2B sales experience, with 3+ years in a senior executive leadership role (VP or above) in a high-growth SaaS or technology environment

• Proven track record of closing new business (net-new sales only, no renewals focus) and exceeding $50M+ ARR targets

• Experience leading global sales organizations and managing enterprise-level deals across multi-stakeholder environments

• Strong expertise in SaaS sales, pipeline generation, and value-based selling methodologies

• Ability to travel 25–35% globally to support deal closures and customer engagement

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred


Compensation for the Senior VP Sales:

• $330,000-$390,000, based on experience

• Full Comprehensive Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, PTO, Paid Holiday and Sick Leave if Required by Law
