Piper Companies is seeking a Director of Revenue Development to join a high-growth client in the SaaS industry in Austin, TX. The Director of Revenue Development role requires a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week in the Austin office. The Director of Revenue Development will work closely alongside the marketing team to drive pipeline generation, optimize outbound strategies, and lead a team focused on revenue growth and top-of-funnel performance.


Responsibilities of the Director of Revenue Development include:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the revenue development function, ensuring consistent pipeline generation aligned with sales targets

• Partner closely with marketing leadership to refine campaign strategies, lead scoring models, and inbound/outbound alignment

• Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing SDR/BDR team through coaching, performance tracking, and career development

• Analyze pipeline metrics and conversion data to identify trends and continuously improve outreach effectiveness

• Implement and optimize tools, processes, and cadences to increase efficiency across prospecting and qualification efforts


Requirements of the Director of Revenue Development include:

• 6+ years of experience in revenue development, sales development, or related leadership roles

• Proven experience managing and scaling SDR/BDR teams in a high-growth or SaaS environment

• Strong collaboration skills with marketing teams and familiarity with demand generation strategies

• Data-driven mindset with experience using CRM platforms and sales engagement tools (e.g., Salesforce, Outreach, Salesloft)

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills


Compensation for the Director of Revenue Development include:

• $180,000 - $270,000 annually

• Full Comprehensive Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, PTO, Paid Holiday and Sick Leave if Required by Law

• Hybrid work flexibility (3 days onsite in Austin, TX)
