Front End Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Front End Engineer for a growing client in the technology industry in Raleigh, NC. The Front End Engineer position is a 6-month contract role. The Front End Engineer position is best suited for a developer with strong expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks and a passion for building high-quality user interfaces.

Responsibilities of the Front End Engineer include:

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React, TypeScript, and Redux

• Translate UI/UX design wireframes into high-quality, scalable code

• Optimize front-end performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility

• Collaborate closely with backend engineers and designers to deliver seamless user experiences

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to front-end best practices and standards

Requirements of the Front End Engineer include:

• 3+ years of professional front-end development experience

• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, Redux, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)

• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs

• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and CI/CD processes

• Strong understanding of responsive design principles and front-end performance optimization

Compensation for the Front End Engineer include:

• $50-$54/hr

• Potential extension or conversion opportunities based on performance

• Hybrid work flexibility
