Piper Companies is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join a leading manufacturing organization. The Finance Business Partner will play a critical role in supporting commercial finance initiatives by partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, and cross-functional leadership to drive profitability and strategic decision-making. Must sit hybrid in Greensboro, NC
Responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner:
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, including ownership of FMC P&Ls, CAPEX, and Net Working Capital.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support dynamic forecasting, sensitivity analysis, and ROI evaluations.
• Serve as a Finance Business Partner to Sales and Marketing leadership, providing insights that drive revenue growth and profitability.
• Perform standard and ad hoc financial analysis related to pricing, volume, product mix, COGS, and net revenue impacts.
• Build and enhance KPI-driven reporting packages, including monthly reporting and flash reporting.
• Analyze and explain financial variances versus forecasts, plans, and prior periods, with actionable recommendations.
• Develop unit-level economic models to evaluate impacts of pricing, volume, and mix on margins.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Insights & Intelligence, People & Culture, and R&D.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and data visualization initiatives using Power BI and Power Query.
• Establish scalable financial processes and standardized templates to improve efficiency and consistency.
Qualifications of the Finance Business Partner:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant financial planning and analysis experience.
• Prior experience as a Finance Business Partner supporting commercial functions.
• Strong experience with FMC P&Ls, CAPEX, and Net Working Capital.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with SAP, BPC, and/or SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.
• Master’s degree preferred.
Compensation for the Finance Business Partner includes:
• Salary range: $160,000 - $195,000
