Piper Companies is seeking a Clinical Research Associate (Oncology) to support a rapidly growing organization within the clinical research and life sciences industry. The Clinical Research Associate (Oncology) role is ideal for an experienced professional with strong oncology monitoring expertise who is passionate about ensuring high-quality clinical trial execution and advancing innovative research.
Responsibilities of the Clinical Research Associate (Oncology):
• Conduct site selection, initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits in compliance with GCP and ICH guidelines.
• Collaborate with investigative sites to develop and track patient recruitment strategies and enrollment goals.
• Provide protocol training and maintain ongoing communication with study sites to ensure expectations are met and issues are addressed.
• Evaluate site practices to ensure protocol adherence and escalate quality or compliance concerns as needed.
• Track study progress including regulatory submissions, enrollment metrics, and data collection activities.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation within Trial Master Files (TMF) and Investigator Site Files (ISF).
• Mentor and support site staff through co-monitoring visits and training initiatives.
• Partner with cross-functional study team members to ensure successful project execution.
• Manage site budgets, invoices, and financial tracking in alignment with study requirements.
Qualifications of the Clinical Research Associate (Oncology):
• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or healthcare-related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of on-site monitoring experience, specifically within oncology studies.
• Strong knowledge of GCP and ICH guidelines with demonstrated experience in oncology protocols.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and clinical systems.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively, handle financial tracking responsibilities, and build strong working relationships with sites and stakeholders.
Compensation for the Clinical Research Associate (Oncology) includes:
• Salary range: $100,000 - $135,000
