Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to support Phase II–III Oncology clinical trials within a fast-paced biotechnology and clinical research environment. The Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA) role is ideal for an experienced professional with strong independent monitoring expertise, site partnership experience, and a hands-on approach to trial execution across multiple oncology studies.
Responsibilities of the Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA):
• Independently monitor Phase II–III oncology clinical trials in compliance with ICH-GCP, study protocols, and SOPs.
• Conduct on-site monitoring visits (approximately 8 days per month), including site initiation, routine monitoring, and close-out visits.
• Perform source data review (SDR) and source data verification (SDV), as well as CRF review to ensure high-quality, inspection-ready data.
• Build strong relationships with investigative sites to support enrollment, protocol adherence, and overall study execution.
• Identify site-level risks, proactively address issues, and escalate concerns to maintain timelines and quality standards.
• Collaborate directly with biotech sponsors, requiring strong communication, adaptability, and ownership of deliverables.
• Manage multiple study sites and competing priorities with minimal oversight in a high-growth environment.
Qualifications of the Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA):
• Proven experience as a Senior CRA supporting oncology clinical trials.
• Strong background in independent monitoring, site management, and trial oversight.
• Deep understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines and clinical trial processes.
• Experience supporting Phase II–III clinical trials within oncology.
• Ability to work directly with biotech clients in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Must reside within one hour of a major airport and be able to travel regionally to support assigned sites.
Compensation for the Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA) includes:
• Salary range: $105,000 - $135,000
