Piper Companies is seeking a Customer Success Specialist to support a growing client in the technology services industry in the Raleigh, NC area. The Customer Success Specialist role requires you to work hybrid, with one day per week onsite in Raleigh. The Customer Success Specialist role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with hands-on experience supporting customers through technical challenges, along with a foundational understanding of virtualized environments and networking concepts.


Responsibilities of the Customer Success Specialist include:

• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, guiding them through technical issues and ensuring timely resolution.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot customer-reported problems related to virtual machines and networking environments.

• Partner with internal engineering and support teams to escalate and resolve complex technical concerns.

• Proactively monitor customer health and provide recommendations to improve system performance and satisfaction.

• Deliver clear, professional communication to customers, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring a positive user experience.


Requirements of the Customer Success Specialist include:

• 2–5 years of experience in customer success, technical support, or a related function.

• Strong understanding of virtual machines (VMs) and virtualization technologies.

• CCNA-level knowledge of networking concepts, including IP addressing, routing, and troubleshooting.

• Proven ability to manage customer issues and communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.


Compensation for the Customer Success Specialist include:

• $32–$40 per hour

• Full Comprehensive Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, PTO, Paid Holiday and Sick Leave if Required by Law.
