Senior Full Stack Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to support an industry leader in financial services for a 6 month contract remote role. The Senior Full Stack Engineer role will be responsible for building scalable backend microservices and modern web applications while leveraging GenAI technologies to enhance developer productivity, automate workflows, and improve user experiences within the wealth management domain.

Responsibilities of the Senior Full Stack Engineer:

• Deliver high quality, innovative and maintainable software solutions in an agile environment.
• Performing application maintenance and ensuring information security controls
• Provide timely status updates, issue resolutions, and step-by-step instructions on usability questions
• Collaborate with Product, Execution, and other support teams to resolve or escalate user inquiries

Qualifications of the Senior Full Stack Engineer:

• 6+ years of experience developing enterprise solutions across multiple technology platforms, programming languages, and Data platform.
• Expertise in backend development building in Java / Python with API first approach for scalable environment.
• Deep understanding of APIs, UI development, infrastructure, security, and emerging technologies.
• Solid experience in front-end frameworks and web technologies including Angular, HTML/CSS, JavaScript or Typescript, web components, and other.
• Strong experience using Java, Java EE/Jakarta EE, Spring Framework/Spring Boot, and modern web application technologies.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, including deployment and architecture best practices.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
