Calypso Analyst

Piper Companies is seeking a Calypso Analyst to support an industry leader in financial services for a multi-year contract role based in Westlake, TX and Raleigh, Durham, NC. The Calypso Analyst role will be responsible for being the bridge between business users and technology users, ensuring the calypso platform supports business processes effectively

Responsibilities of the Calypso Analyst:

• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for developers.
• Support implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of the Calypso platform.
• Analyze and support trade processing from trade capture through settlement.
• Perform System Integration Testing (SIT) and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Investigate production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Analyze interfaces between Calypso and external systems.

Create functional specifications, process flows, and user guides.

Qualifications of the Calypso Analyst:

• 2-5+ years of Hands-on experience with the Calypso platform (Front Office, Back Office, Risk, Accounting, or Operations modules).
• Knowledge of SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of system integrations, interfaces, and financial application support.
• CFA preferred
• FRM preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
