CQV Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a CQV Engineer to support commissioning and qualification activities within a biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The CQV Engineer role is ideal for a hands-on professional with 2–5 years of experience focused on downstream systems, field verification, and execution in a fast-paced setting. The CQV Engineer is a long term contract opportunity and requires you to work on site 5 days per week in Holly Springs, NC.

Responsibilities of the CQV Engineer:

•  Execute commissioning and qualification activities (IV, OV, PQ)
•  Perform P&ID walkdowns and field verification of equipment readiness
•  Support DeltaV operations including valve checks and system execution
•  Troubleshoot mechanical and process issues on the fly
•  Support downstream systems (buffer prep, chromatography, UF, bulk fill)
•  Assist with validation documentation and deliverables

Requirements of the CQV Engineer:

•  2–5 years of CQV, validation, or process engineering experience
•  Experience with at least 2 of the following: IV, OV, PQ
•  Hands-on field experience required (downstream, utilities, or process systems)
•  Downstream preferred; upstream, utilities/DP, or filling also considered
•  DeltaV experience preferred
• Experience with P&ID walkdowns and field verification
•  Kneat and greenfield experience are pluses

Compensation for the CQV Engineer:

•  $125,000 - $170,000, depending on experience
