Piper Companies is seeking a Change Management Lead to support a Baltimore-area healthcare organization through a large-scale Workday implementation. This is a primarily remote role with occasional onsite presence required during key phases and trainings.

 

The Change Management Lead will drive organizational readiness and user adoption across Workday's HCM, Supply Chain, and Finance modules. Partnering closely with project leadership, stakeholders, and end users, this individual will develop and execute change management strategies, communications, training, and adoption plans to ensure a successful rollout.

 

The ideal candidate is a proactive, organized leader with strong Workday expertise, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a proven ability to drive projects forward. This person must be comfortable owning timelines, holding teams accountable, building trust across the organization, and delivering a high level of customer service throughout the implementation lifecycle.

 

Responsibilities of the Change Management Lead Include:

  • Lead change management activities for the Workday implementation.
  • Create and maintain change management plans, communication strategies, and stakeholder engagement plans.
  • Partner with executive sponsors, project managers, implementation partners, and business leaders to support project goals.
  • Participate in project meetings, workshops, discovery sessions, and executive updates to provide a change management perspective.
  • Advise leadership on organizational readiness, stakeholder engagement, communication planning, and user adoption strategies.
  •  Identify business impacts and assess organizational readiness for change.
  • Develop communication materials, training plans, job aids, and other adoption resources.
  • Monitor employee engagement and adoption efforts, recommending adjustments as needed.
  • Anticipate and address resistance, risks, and change-related challenges.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to project leadership throughout the implementation.
  • Ensure stakeholders have the information, resources, and support needed for a successful Workday rollout.
  • Deliver a responsive, high-touch customer experience and maintain strong relationships across the organization.

Qualifications of the Change Management Lead Include:

Required

  • 2+ years of change management experience.
  • Familiarity with Workday HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Talent, Finance, or related modules.
  • Strong project planning, organization, and time management skills.
  • Experience developing communications, training programs, and end-user adoption strategies.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to guide teams through organizational change.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting at least one Workday implementation.
  • Prosci certification or other formal change management training.
  • Experience conducting change impact assessments and organizational readiness activities.
  • Healthcare, nonprofit, or education industry experience.

Compensation of the Change Management Lead Includes:

  • Salary: $186,580.00 - $225,000.00 per year / $160.00 - $190.00 per hour
  • Arrangement: Primarily remote with occasional onsite meetings during planning and implementation phases
