Senior Equipment Systems & Vendor Associate
Job Summary:
Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Equipment Systems & Vendor Associate to support a leading biotechnology company focused on developing innovative therapies and bioengineered organ technologies. This position is onsite in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
Responsibilities for the Senior Equipment Systems & Vendor Associate include:
· Manage maintenance, calibration, and equipment tracking systems to ensure accurate equipment status, documentation, and work records
· Coordinate preventive maintenance, calibration, and vendor service schedules while driving on-time completion of planned activities
· Monitor open work orders, vendor certificates, and documentation gaps to ensure timely closure and compliance with GMP requirements
· Administer user accounts and access controls for maintenance and equipment management systems
· Support system validation activities, upgrades, configuration changes, testing, documentation, and change control processes
· Coordinate vendor services, site access, and logistics while ensuring compliance with safety, security, and GMP standards
· Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, R&D, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Finance teams to resolve equipment, service, and documentation issues
Required Qualifications for the Senior Equipment Systems & Vendor Associate include:
· Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience; Associate’s degree and 5+ years of experience; or High School Diploma/GED and 6+ years of experience in equipment lifecycle management within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device environment
· Experience managing equipment systems, vendor services, maintenance programs, and inspection readiness activities
· Strong knowledge of equipment documentation, calibration, preventive maintenance, and data integrity practices
· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive activities to on-time completion across cross-functional teams
· Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
· Experience supporting system validation, user access administration, and change control processes
· Ability to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements
Compensation for the Senior Equipment Systems & Vendor Associate includes:
· Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 annually * based on experience*
