Piper Companies is looking for a Field Service Manager to join a commercial and federal systems integrator. This is a full-time position and offers hybrid flexibility out of Glen Burnie, MD.


 Essential Duties of the Field Service Manager:

  • Managing the success and efficiency of a team of service technicians, coordinating service activities against contractual and on-demand requests, and liaising with customers to resolve any service-related issues.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to staff.
  • Ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction by addressing customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor service operations to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, including service staff performance against company KPIs and objectives.
  • Analyze service delivery reports and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.

 

Qualifications of the Field Service Manager:

  • 5+ years of experience in service management or similar positions.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Solid understanding of service operations and technical knowledge relevant to the industry.
  • Proficiency in using service management software and other relevant tools.
  • Financial acumen and experience managing operational costs and analyzing reports.


Compensation for the Field Service Manager:

  • $85,000 - $130,000 (based on experience)
  • 2 days remote per week
