Piper Companies is currently looking for a Customer Service Associate for an insurance and annuities company in Durham, NC. The Customer Service Associate role is focused in customer service, where the representative will correspond with clients regarding service requests and claim needs quickly and effectively. The Customer Service Associate role is hybrid onsite 3 days a week, where you are required to sit in office at the Durham, NC location.
Responsibilities for the Customer Service Associate include:
· Respond efficiently and effectively to clients regarding claims needs and service requests for contract withdrawals, surrenders, ownership & beneficiary changes.
· Explain company products, contract benefits and transactions by maintaining knowledge of all products and Customer Support procedures.
· Provide technical assistance to clients with accessing the client portal.
· Communicate with clients openly and respectfully to ensure highest quality service.
Qualifications for the Customer Service Associate include:
· 0-2 years of experience in customer service
· Must attend 3 days on-site per week in the Durham, NC office from 9AM-6PM
· Bachelor’s Degree, preferred areas of study include Communications, Psychology, or History
Compensation for the Customer Service Associate includes:
· Hourly rate: $20.00-$23.00 per hour, based on experience
