Piper Companies is seeking a data-driven and strategic Sales Operations Specialist to work On-Site in McLean, Va to support and optimize our sales organization. This role will partner closely with Sales Leadership (including both VPs), Marketing, and cross-functional teams to improve pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and overall sales performance. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with hands-on experience in CRM systems and sales process optimization.


Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales pipeline and deliver accurate, data-driven sales forecasts.
  • Develop and track key sales KPIs to measure performance, identify gaps, and drive efficiency.
  • Implement and administer sales automation tools (e.g., CRM systems) to streamline workflows.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to design and execute targeted sales campaigns.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Operations, Finance, Pre-Sales, Services, Legal) to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Support onboarding and training of new sales representatives on tools, processes, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, ideally within a global high-tech environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with CRM and sales automation tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, NetSuite)
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Tableau, SQL)
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex datasets and translate insights into business actions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly detail-oriented with a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
