Piper Companies is seeking a Program Manager - Manufacturing to join a leading organization in the electronics manufacturing and interconnect solutions industry located on-site in Santa Clara, CA. The ideal Program Manager - Manufacturing will be responsible for overseeing complex customer programs, coordinating cross-functional manufacturing initiatives, and ensuring successful execution of product delivery objectives across engineering, operations, and supply chain teams.


Responsibilities of the Program Manager - Manufacturing:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring alignment on program goals, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Manage manufacturing programs throughout the product lifecycle, from initial planning through production ramp and ongoing delivery.
  • Develop and maintain program plans, timelines, milestones, and performance metrics to ensure successful execution.
  • Partner closely with engineering, operations, quality, supply chain, and production teams to drive program objectives.
  • Translate customer forecasts, demand requirements, and technical specifications into actionable manufacturing strategies.
  • Monitor program performance, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation plans to maintain schedules and customer commitments.
  • Lead program review meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Coordinate resource planning activities to support production demands and operational readiness.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to meet quality, cost, delivery, and customer satisfaction targets.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on manufacturing efficiency, product quality, and process optimization.

Qualifications of the Program Manager - Manufacturing:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 6+ years of program management, project management, or operations leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supporting electronics, semiconductor, interconnect, telecommunications, or high-tech manufacturing operations preferred.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and supply chain coordination.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and complex customer-driven programs simultaneously.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain organizations.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, project management methodologies, and manufacturing metrics.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project/program management training is a plus.

Compensation for the Program Manager - Manufacturing includes:

  • Salary range: $110,000 - $150,000 annually (depending on experience)
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO
