Director of Data Analytics and Business Intelligence

Piper Companies is looking for a Director of Data Analytics and Business Intelligence to join a large hospital and healthcare organization. This job is based in Maryland although 100% remote only occasional travel to MD is required.

 Essential Duties of the Director of Data Analytics and Business Intelligence:

• Assessing the current state, closing capability gaps, and setting the direction for a data and analytics function that is actively rebuilding.
• Lead and grow a large team focused on reporting, data engineering, BI development, data governance, data science, and data platform support.
• Oversee data governance and stewardship, including AI/ML model monitoring.
• Works with customers to align and prioritize key technology initiatives, develop resource plans, ensure appropriate sourcing, and create enterprise timelines for delivery.

Qualifications of the Director of Data Analytics and Business Intelligence:

• 10+ years of experience leading a BI or data analytics team
• Experience with Epic analytics such as Clarity, Caboodle, Cogito, SlicerDicer, etc
• Experience leading large analytics teams

 Compensation for the Director of Data Analytics and Business Intelligence:

• $175,000 - $275,000 (based on experience)
• 100% Remote
