Piper Companies is seeking a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to support a leading organization within the clinical research industry across the United States. The Clinical Research Associate (CRA) will provide site management and monitoring support for clinical trials within Oncology, Cardiovascular, GLP-1/Obesity, Diabetes, or Ophthalmology research programs. Multiple openings are available, and candidates may specialize in one or more therapeutic areas.

Responsibilities of the Clinical Research Associate (CRA):

  • Conduct onsite and remote monitoring activities to evaluate study progress, participant safety, and protocol compliance.
  • Lead site activation efforts, including investigator training and study start-up readiness assessments.
  • Review clinical data, source documentation, and regulatory records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Partner with investigative sites and internal study teams to address findings, resolve issues, and maintain study timelines.
  • Support ongoing oversight of clinical trials through routine travel, monitoring visits, and site relationship management.

Qualifications of the Clinical Research Associate (CRA):

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Healthcare, or a related scientific field.
  • 2+ years of clinical monitoring experience within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, or clinical research environment.
  • Experience supporting studies in Oncology, Cardiovascular, GLP-1/Obesity, Diabetes, Ophthalmology, or other related therapeutic areas. Experience in all therapeutic areas is not required.
  • Working knowledge of EDC platforms, CTMS applications, and clinical trial technologies.
  • Strong understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines, regulatory requirements, and clinical research best practices with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Compensation of the Clinical Research Associate (CRA):

  • Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000 dependent on experience
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, sick leave if required by law, and 401K
