Sr Software Engineer

A rapidly growing healthcare technology organization is seeking a Remote Senior Software Engineer to help build and scale a modern platform that supports innovative care delivery and operational excellence. This Senior Software Engineer will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing full-stack applications while influencing technical architecture, engineering best practices, and the adoption of AI-driven development workflows. This is a fully remote opportunity for an experienced engineer who thrives in high-growth environments and enjoys solving complex technical challenges from the ground up.

Responsibilities of the Senior Software Engineer:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and AWS technologies.
• Drive architectural decisions across web, mobile, backend, and AI-enabled solutions with a focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Leverage AI-powered development tools, including Claude and other automation technologies, to accelerate software delivery, testing, and development workflows.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to define requirements, improve user experiences, and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Contribute to system design, code reviews, CI/CD improvements, security initiatives, and engineering best practices across the organization.

Qualifications of the Senior Software Engineer:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or another engineering-focused discipline required.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience; candidates with 10+ years of experience are highly preferred.
• Strong full-stack development experience with React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and AWS in production environments.
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools daily to enhance productivity, automate workflows, improve testing, and accelerate software development processes.
• Proven ability to participate in live coding exercises, technical problem solving, and system design discussions.

Preferred Qualifications of the Senior Software Engineer:

• Experience working within healthcare, health-tech, or other regulated industries.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, event-driven architecture, microservices, and cloud-native development practices.
• Experience building or integrating AI and machine learning capabilities into software products.
• Background working in startup or high-growth environments with significant ownership and autonomy.
• Strong understanding of application security, secure coding practices, and modern DevOps methodologies.

Compensation for the Senior Software Engineer includes:

• Salary Range: $170,000-$180,000 base
• Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO, and holiday
