Quality Assurance Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a QA Engineer to join a leading organization within the healthcare technology industry for a 9-month contract opportunity. This position follows a hybrid schedule, requiring 2 days onsite per week. The QA Engineer will play a key role in developing and enhancing automated testing solutions while ensuring the reliability and performance of business-critical applications.

Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Engineer:

·      Build, execute, and support automated test scripts utilizing Cypress for web-based applications.

·      Develop and improve reusable test automation frameworks that promote scalability and testing efficiency.

·      Partner with software engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to define testing requirements and quality objectives.

·      Perform comprehensive testing activities, including functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

·      Investigate, document, and track software defects through resolution while validating fixes and system stability.

Requirements of the Quality Assurance Engineer:

·      3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a strong emphasis on automated testing.

·      Hands-on expertise creating and maintaining automation scripts using Cypress.

·      Proficiency with JavaScript or similar scripting languages for test development.

·      Experience working with CI/CD environments and source control platforms such as Git.

·      Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with the ability to work in a collaborative Agile environment.

Compensation for the Quality Assurance Engineer: 

·      Pay Rate: $45/hour
