Piper Companies is seeking a Front Office Coordinator to support an outpatient care center in Fort Worth, Texas. This individual will support the organization on a temporary basis while covering for a team member on leave. This role is ideal for a professional with medical office experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys providing exceptional patient and administrative support.
Responsibilities of the Front Office Coordinator:
• Greet and assist patients, visitors, and healthcare staff in a professional and courteous manner.
• Manage front desk operations, including patient check-in and check-out processes.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls while responding to patient inquiries.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate patient communications.
• Maintain accurate patient records, process forms, documentation, and correspondence while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Assist with administrative tasks including filing, scanning, faxing, copying, and data entry.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure efficient daily operations.
Qualifications of the Front Office Coordinator:
• Minimum of one year of experience in a medical office setting.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of office equipment including computers, printers, copiers, and fax machines.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Forms, and Access preferred.
• Flexible, energetic, personable, and team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work and multi-task effectively in a high-volume, high-stress healthcare setting.
Compensation for the Front Office Coordinator includes:
• Salary range: $22-27/hr
• Full-time Monday-Friday hourly contract opportunity
• Three-month temporary assignment with anticipated start date of August 10
