Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Piper Companies is seeking an Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join a leading financial services and investment management organization for a fully remote permanent opportunity. The Oracle PL/SQL Developer will support mission-critical platforms that power investment operations, analytics, and alternative asset solutions. This Oracle PL/SQL Developer will contribute to enterprise modernization initiatives focused on scalability, performance optimization, operational resiliency, and the delivery of high-impact data solutions that support future business growth.

Responsibilities of the Oracle PL/SQL Developer include:

·      Develop, maintain, and enhance Oracle PL/SQL code including stored procedures, packages, functions, and database objects supporting enterprise applications.

·      Analyze and optimize SQL statements, database performance, and large-scale batch processing workloads to improve efficiency and reliability.

·      Design, build, and support ETL processes and data integration frameworks that manage high-volume data movement across platforms.

·      Collaborate with application development, architecture, and business teams to deliver modernization initiatives and improve platform capabilities.

·      Participate in CI/CD activities, code reviews, testing efforts, and production deployments while adhering to development best practices.

Requirements for the Oracle PL/SQL Developer include:

·      6+ years of professional experience developing applications with Oracle PL/SQL and SQL.

·      Strong experience with performance tuning, query optimization, indexing strategies, and troubleshooting database performance issues.

·      Hands-on experience supporting ETL workflows, batch processing systems, and large-scale data integration initiatives.

·      Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and automated deployment practices.

·      Experience within financial services, investment management, capital markets, or other highly regulated environments is preferred.

·      Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
