Maintenance Mechanic

Piper Companies is currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic in Raritan, New Jersey (NJ) to work for an innovative and growing Pharmaceutical Company. The Maintenance Technician will play an integral role in the upkeep of pharmaceutical manufacturing machinery and instruments.

Responsibilities for the Maintenance Mechanic include:

·      Repair and maintain electrical/mechanical equipment related to the manufacturing of pharmaceutical products.

·      Utilize knowledge of PLCs to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues

·      Maintain proper GMP documentation and lockout tagout for equipment maintenance

·      Utilize proper PPE (protective equipment) while working within a regulated environment

Qualifications for the Maintenance Mechanic include:

·      A minimum of 3 years’ experience within a GMP regulated manufacturing environment

·      Strong experience with mechanical and electrical manufacturing maintenance

·      Ability to troubleshoot PLCs preferred

·      Pharmaceutical manufacturing or regulated industry preferred

Compensation for the Maintenance Mechanic include:

·      Compensation Range is dependent upon experience
