Piper Companies is actively seeking an CRA to join a CRO supporting global clinical program. The CRA will be at the forefront of ensuring our study sites operate smoothly and efficiently. Your work will be pivotal in advancing groundbreaking research. The CRA role is a fully remote position with travel (U.S.-based).
Responsibilities of the CRA:
- Conduct site selection, initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits for Cardiovascular, CNS, Diabetes, and GLP-1 clinical trials, ensuring compliance with GCP, ICH, protocol requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Partner with investigative sites to drive patient recruitment, enrollment, and retention strategies that support study timelines and performance goals.
- Provide protocol-specific training and ongoing support to site personnel, maintain effective communication, and proactively resolving study-related issues and risks.
- Monitor site performance, study conduct, and protocol compliance, identifying quality concerns, and implementing corrective actions to ensure data integrity and patient safety.
- Track critical study metrics, including regulatory submissions, site activation, enrollment progress, and data management activities to support successful trial execution.
- Maintain TMF and ISF documentation, support site financial activities and invoice reconciliation, and collaborate with study teams to ensure operational excellence throughout the clinical trial lifecycle.
Qualifications of the CRA:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Nursing, Pharmacy, or a related scientific discipline preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of recent on-site clinical monitoring experience, with direct experience supporting Cardiovascular, CNS, Diabetes, and/or GLP-1 clinical trials.
- Strong knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, FDA regulations, and clinical trial processes across multiple therapeutic areas.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage investigative sites, oversee study conduct, ensure protocol compliance, and maintain high standards of data quality and patient safety.
- Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and clinical trial management systems.
- Proven ability to manage multiple studies and priorities simultaneously while collaborating effectively with investigators, site personnel, sponsors, and cross-functional clinical teams.
Compensation for the CRA:
- Salary Range: $100,000 – $120,000, depending on experience
- Full Comprehensive Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, PTO, Paid Holiday and Sick Leave if Required by Law.
