Piper Companies is hiring a Senior Clinical Research Associate (SCRA) for a global CRO located in the United States (remote with travel). The SCRA will lead site monitoring activities and ensure compliance across clinical trials, serving as the key liaison between sites, sponsor, and internal teams. This is a direct hire role requiring travel to sites.
Responsibilities of the Senior CRA:
- Manage site relationships with investigators, coordinators, and site staff
- Conduct all monitoring visits (selection, initiation, monitoring, close-out) per ICH GCP and CMP
- Ensure patient safety, protocol compliance, and data integrity
- Support site start-up, regulatory submissions, and essential document collection
- Drive recruitment strategies and monitor enrollment progress
- Maintain TMF and ensure audit/inspection readiness
- Track trial data, resolve queries, and ensure timely reporting
- Collaborate cross-functionally on site payments and study execution
- Provide regular updates to PMs and escalate issues as needed
Requirements of the Senior CRA:
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field
- 3–5+ years of CRA experience in clinical trials
- MUST have Oncology or Ophthalmology experience (non-negotiable)
- Strong knowledge of ICH GCP, regulatory requirements, and monitoring processes
- Proven ability to manage multiple sites and build strong relationships
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
- Travelling to sites
