Network Certification Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Network Certification Engineer for a world leading technology organization in the Raleigh Durham, North Carolina area. The Network Certification Engineer role is a remote role working EST hours. The Network Certification Engineer will validate, test, and certify networking hardware and software solutions to ensure compliance with technical, security, and industry standards. An ideal candidate for the Network Certification Engineer role is an experienced engineer with strong expertise in network technologies, testing methodologies, and certification processes.

Responsibilities of the Network Certification Engineer:

• Execute certification testing for routers, switches, firewalls, and other network infrastructure solutions.

• Develop and maintain test plans, validation procedures, and certification documentation.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, and quality assurance teams to identify and resolve network performance issues.

• Validate compliance with industry standards, security requirements, and customer specifications.

• Analyze test results and provide recommendations for product improvements and certification readiness.

Qualifications of the Network Certification Engineer:

• 3+ years of experience in network engineering, network testing, or certification activities.

• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, TCP/IP, network security, and troubleshooting methodologies.

• Experience with network testing tools and protocols in enterprise or service provider environments.

• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or equivalent are preferred.

• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Compensation for the Network Certification Engineer includes:

• Salary range: $95,000 – $120,000 depending on experience

• Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, Sick Leave as required by law
