Piper Companies is looking for a Senior Research Associate to join a preclinical biotechnology company located in Cambridge, MA.
Responsibilities of the Senior Research Associate include:
- Performing human pluripotent stem cell culture and differentiation experiments
- Conducting molecular biology assays including RT-qPCR, ddPCR, flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence staining
- Supporting cell engineering and differentiation studies while analyzing experimental data and troubleshooting protocols
- Maintaining cell cultures, laboratory supplies, and supporting laboratory compliance and quality initiatives
Qualifications for the Senior Research Associate include:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific field such as regenerative medicine, molecular biology, genetic engineering, or a related discipline
- Experience with human pluripotent stem cells (iPSC), stem cell differentiation, 3D cell culture, bioreactors, and sterile technique
- Hands-on experience with RT-qPCR, ddPCR, flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence staining
Compensation for the Senior Research Associate includes:
- Rate Range: $37- $50/hr, depending on experience
- Comprehensive Benefit Package: Cigna Medical/Dental/Vision, 401K, Sick Leave as Required by Law
