Customer Service and Logistics Supervisor

Piper Companies is seeking a Customer Service & Logistics Supervisor to join a growing biotechnology and industrial microbiology research and manufacturing organization in West Chester, PA. The Customer Service & Logistics Supervisor will lead customer service and logistics operations while overseeing inventory management, shipment coordination, and a small cross-functional team.

Responsibilities of the Customer Service & Logistics Manager:

• Oversee inventory management, order delivery, and domestic and international shipping operations for end-to-end customer order fulfillment.

• Coordinate closely with Production, Procurement, and Sales teams to drive operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

• Troubleshoot complex logistics issues, including international shipment delays, customs challenges, and carrier-related disruptions.

• Manage customer service processes, monitor performance metrics, and implement improvements that improve service and operations.

Qualifications of the Customer Service & Logistics Manager:

• 5+ experience in inventory management, shipping coordination, and order fulfillment operations.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or similar field.

• Leadership experience managing customer service, logistics, warehouse, operations, or supply chain teams.

• Ability to work independently, prioritize competing responsibilities, and drive results in a changing environment.

• Experience with Sage ERP, inventory management systems, and international shipping processes (preferred).

Compensation for the Customer Service & Logistics Manager includes:

• Salary: $70,000 and $80,000

• Annual management bonus opportunity of up to 10%
