Maintenance Technician (Cell Therapy)

Piper Companies is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Cell Therapy) to support a growing biotechnology manufacturing organization in Raritan, NJ. This first-shift position will support the maintenance and reliability of manufacturing equipment within a regulated cGMP cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician (Cell Therapy)

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and processing equipment.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and automated equipment issues.

• Complete work orders, maintenance records, and equipment documentation in accordance with cGMP requirements.

• Utilize CMMS to track maintenance activities, schedules, and equipment history.

• Support equipment reliability, troubleshooting, investigations, and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications of the Maintenance Technician (Cell Therapy)

• 5+ years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.

• Hands-on experience maintaining manufacturing or processing equipment.

• Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or other regulated industry experience preferred.

• Experience working within cleanroom or aseptic manufacturing environments.

• Familiarity with CMMS and preventive maintenance programs.

• Electrical and/or automation troubleshooting experience is a plus.

Compensation of the Maintenance Technician (Cell Therapy)

• Pay Rate: $40–43/hr

• Location: Raritan, NJ – Onsite

• Type: 6-Month Contract
