Common Criteria Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Common Criteria Engineer to support a technology conglomerate. The Common Criteria Engineer role will design, develop, and certify products under the European Common Criteria Framework.

Responsibilities of the Common Criteria Engineer:

• Supporting Common Criteria certification efforts, including Security Target (ST) development and technical evidence collection.
• Translate certification requirements into engineering tasks and product requirements.
• Review product architectures, security features, and technical documentation for certification readiness.

Qualifications of the Common Criteria Engineer:

• 3+ years of experience in security engineering, software engineering, systems engineering, or product security.
• Understanding of secure software development and security architecture principles.
• Experience with one or more of Identity and Access Management, Operating Systems, Network Security, Cloud Security, Cryptography, Embedded Systems
• Experience with Common Criteria (ISO/IEC 15408) or other security certification programs.
• Experience with Security Targets, Protection Profiles, Evaluation Assurance Levels, EUCC or SOG-IS frameworks
• Experience working with government, defense, or regulated industry products
• CISSP, Security+, CCSP certs nice to have
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field
